Alcohol sales now open to all grocery, big box stores in Ontario

The final phase of expanding where alcohol can be sold across the province kicks in today with all remaining grocery and big box stores not already offering it, can join in.
This follows on the Sept. 5 announcement opening the sale of beer, cider, wine and ready-to-drink beverages, including in large pack sizes, at convenience stores.
In New Tecumseth only Zehrs in Alliston, and Foodland in Tottenham is currently selling alcohol. Beeton Foodland houses an LCBO agency store.
Hour of sale is 7 am to 11 pm, seven days per week, including holidays. Hard liquor (spirits) are excluded and remain available only via LCBO and its agency stores.
