
OPP seek four suspects in brazen daylight B&E in Tottenham

Nottawasaga OPP seeking four suspects who broke into a Tottenham subdivision home Friday afternoon caught on the resident's security camera, loading what is alleged to be a safe into a suspect vehicle.
Police said this morning the break-in reportedly occurred sometime between 3 pm but before 5 pm on Sydie Lane, immediately north of 4th Line at Hawke Cres, but not reported until later that night at 8:32 pm.
"Upon arrival, officers located the basement window to be pried open and determined there had been a break and enter," according to OPP. "The preliminary investigation revealed that the home owner arrived home from work at approximately 8:15 p.m., and entered through the garage and into a mudroom at which time noticed that clothes had been thrown all over the floor from the drying machine and a safe had been taken from the home.
Home surveillance shows what appears to be two males exiting through the front door at 4:48 p.m., One male is seen carrying the safe wrapped in a blanket, then what is believed to be a black Ford Escape is also observed backing into the driveway at which time a third male is observed exiting the driver side of the vehicle to assist. Video in the area also shows a female walking around the residence on a cell phone near the address at approximately 4:24 p.m. that officers are looking to speak with."
Suspect 1: male, wearing a black jacket/hoodie, black pants, black shoes, black crossbody bag, black gloves, black hat, surgical mask.
Suspect 2: male with tan skin, wearing a beige/black jacket, grey track pants, brown shoes, grey toque, surgical mask,
Suspect 3: The driver: male, wearing a grey jacket, black hat, surgical mask, and black pants.
Suspect 4: female, wearing white pants, surgical mask, black jacket, black shoes, pink hijab.
Investigations are still ongoing, Police are encouraging residents to review their camera footage or dash cam for any suspicious activity that may be helpful in this investigation between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on April 4.
