
Closed restaurant in Alliston hit by thieves

Nottawasaga OPP investigating a break and enter at the shuttered Indian Flames restaurant in Alliston that occurred between last Thursday and Friday afternoon.
Police were called to the scene at 33 Paris Street shortly before 3 pm, May 30.
"Upon arrival, officers observed no signs of forced entry, and the suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival," according to OPP. "The preliminary investigation revealed that between May 29, at 5 pm., and May 30, at 2:15 p.m., the suspects made entry through the rear, entered the store stealing several items such as, cases of steak, cases of chicken, an Epson printer ET 3830, one HP laptop, one Dell computer monitor, one food seal vacuum, a meat grinder, two food weight scales, a meat slicer, and kitchen knives."
The investigation continues.
