
Niagara Falls man charged trying to defraud Trillium Ford in Alliston

An appointment to take delivery of a new vehicle from an Alliston dealership yesterday, instead turned into the arrest of a 52-year-old male, by Nottawasaga OPP lying in wait.
OPP reported this afternoon, Trillium Ford had alerted police on Monday, about a customer who had used fraudulant means to purchase a 2026 Lincoln Navigator Sierra SUV valued at $143,000. He was expected to pick up the vehicle yesterday where he was met by police and taken into custody.
"The suspect had purchased the vehicle using falsified identification and had placed a down payment using a credit card that did not belong to them," according to OPP. "On February 10, 2026, shortly after 4:30 p.m. Officers, knowing that the suspect would be attending the dealership to pick up the purchased vehicle, attended the dealership and arrested the suspect.
Christian Bosak, 52, from Niagara Falls, was charged with:

Fraud Over $5,000;

Theft Over $5,000 of a Motor Vehicle;

Personation with Intent - intent to obtain property (identity Fraud);

Two counts of, Use, deals, acts on forged document; and

Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Other Drugs.
This arrest comes exactly one year after a similar incident played out under like circumstances at Ernie Dean's in Alliston, when an Ottawa man was charged with fraud.
