Motorcyclist killed, cause of crash under investigation

Updated June 10 - "The identifiers of the deceased were withheld as the next of kin notifications had not yet taken place. The male motorcycle driver was from Bradford."

Nottawasaga OPP investigating a fatal motorcycle crash yesterday afternoon on County Road 1 in New Tecumseth.

​

Emergency crews were called to the scene between Tottenham Road and the Adjala-Tecumseth Townline, approximately 2:25 pm.

​

 

The driver was transported to Stevenson Memorial Hospital and pronounced deceased.

 

The road was closed for several hours for the investigation by the OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) team.

 

The investigation is ongoing.

At this post, the deceased's identity had not been released.
