House fire in Briar Hill sends one to hospital

Nottawasaga OPP investigating a residential fire in Briar Hill which sent one person to hospital.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Renaissance Point in the Alliston subdivison shortly before 8:30 this morning.

 

"One individual was located within the residence, transported to a local hospital for treatment," according to police. "There are no concerns for public safety at this time, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Nottawasaga OPP, with assistance from the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM). Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Nottawasaga OPP."
