

Local male facing impaired driving charge causing bodily harm

A single car crash early Sunday morning in Alliston, with three people in the vehicle, ended with the driver's arrest for impaired.
On December 14, at approximately 2 am, emergency crews responded to the scene on 14th Line.
"Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had left the roadway and overturned in a steep ditch. Three occupants were assisted from the wreckage with the help of emergency services. Two passengers sustained significant injuries, were transported to hospital for treatment and later discharged," according to OPP.
"During the investigation, officers determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a local hospital as a precaution and later discharged with minor injuries."

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on January 15, 2026. The driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
