Van and truck pulling cattle crash, one airlifted to Toronto

At this post (12:46 pm), 10 Sideroad is closed between the 10th and 11th Line near Beeton following a two-vehicle collision this morning that sent one to hospital with serious injuries.

 

Emerency crews were called to the scene at approximately 10 am, where a van and a truck pulling a cattle trailer collided at 10 SR at the 11th line.

 

"The passenger of the van sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital where they were then airlifted to a trauma centre in Toronto by Ornge Air Ambulance," according to OPP.  No injuries reported for either drivers or cattle.

 

OPP Technical Collision Investigators were on scene. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
